This bored has and will forever have a very special place in my heart. I first saw this bored on one of the Beyond Medals movies, where Ulrik Badertscher did a triple backflip off of a jump that wasn’t even that big, absolutely blowing my mind. I then zoomed in and saw “Funky” written on the bored, after that I knew it was destiny that I would ride one of these boreds. I talked to the crew over at Funky Snowboards and they recommended this bored specifically for me. The first time riding it I fell in absolute obsession with this bored. It gave me all of the pop and floatation I could ever dream of having. I truly felt like I was riding around on a trampoline, not a snowbored.
The tech in this bored is what really sold me on it. This thing features carbon runners through the construct of the bored, which is what gives it that crazy rebound like a trampoline.

The full camber profile gives great pop and control while the early rise in the nose and tail allows for maximum float and easy edge to edge transition. The nose is made a bit larger than average, which kept me on top of even the deepest of snow. With a powerful but small tail, this bored allows for a natural stance that put me a bit more forward in powder which allotted me great control in landing in the deep-end. This directional shape blew me away when I jumped into 2+ feet of untouched snow and bounced right back up to the top without getting bogged down. The first time this happened to me I was actually shocked. The volume of this bored is definitely a bit more intense than a normal cruiser or park bored, but nothing over the top. The waist width felt just right, allowing for nimble turns and precise maneuvers. Overall the construct of this bored is right on the money.

I rode this bored until I broke the core after over a year of riding (100+ days). I would guess that you will do the exact same thing if you invest in this bored. I don’t think you

necessarily need to be anything special to enjoy this bored, and you can take it anywhere you’d like and it will thrive. So if you are looking for a bored that is great in powder, eats up side hits, and enjoys a lap or 48 in the park, then this may be the bored for you. I had a ton of fun with this snowboard review, thanks for reading, drop a comment to let me know what you want me to try next! Enjoy the Derby partner!
