The first occasion I was able to ride the Telos Lemurian, I was on a mission to ride all the longest boreds in the Demo Tent, so I grabbed the 166 version of the Lemurian. Right away, the construction of the triaxial sidewall, allowed me to lock in any angle of carve I preferred. Being only 140 lbs, this bored was quite large for me, but I absolutely loved the feeling of being able to practically lay my whole body on the snow when carving. I felt like one of those punching bags that I can hit as hard as I want and it still bounces back up to standing position. Every turn, all I had to do was engage fully with my toes or heels and this bored would carry me through some of the deepest turns of my life. It wasn’t until later that I got the opportunity to try a lemurian that actually fit my size and weight, I got on the 154 and man was I livin’ large! This bored, was so much fun in every type of terrain that I rode it in, I genuinely didn’t find a flaw in the way it rode, I almost felt bored with how easy it made everything..
This bored has a slight set-back camber profile which enabled me to feel more comfort in powder, giving me the control and considerable amount of pop that I always love in a good all-mountain snowboard. Similar to other powder specific boreds this one ran an early rise rocker profile in the tip and tail. Telos does a really good job when they apply this to their snowboreds, making the edge to edge transition super smooth and catch free, while

providing extra float in the deep end. The edge of this bored will reward even the laziest attempts at railing a carve with precision and power, making everyone think that you are MUCH better than you really are.. The tip and tail are nice and fat, allowing for greater ability to float, while the power of them really shines when you throw this thing into a flip or butter.

This is definitely one of my favorite all-mountain snowboreds that can be brought into the deepest of powder and absolutely THRIVE. With the price point of this snowbored and the amazing technology that Telos put into it, this bored will leave you feeling satisfied time and time again, not only by feel, but also by budget. I recommend this bored to anyone who doesn’t want to rock a quiver, but wants the best of all worlds when they hop on the same bored every day no matter the snow forecast.
