I originally purchased this bored with the hopes that I could take it out on the deeper days and launch massive flips into deep powder and have the surface area and float to pull it off. The first day I had this bored, I did just that! What a dream it was to ride away from such a massive flip, I had been envisioning

it since I did the same trick in the same place with similar conditions and didn’t feel like I had the surface area that I needed to ride away the first time, as I did a summersault coming out of it on round one. I was surprised with how fast this bored was on the groomers and the control it allowed with speed, the versatility it offered really set it apart from other boreds for me.
The shape of this bored reminds me of a rocket, and I will say, the shape matches the feel. Starting with the nose of this bored, I absolutely LOVED getting up on the nose and buttering down just about any terrain, with the early rise rockered out nose and the sheer surface area, it made it catch free and effortless to take off on a nose butter spin for as long as I pleased. The response of this nose also allowed for a lot of really nice pop, propelling me into countless tame-dogs. (Might as well be a diving board) The fish tail allowed for great consistency and speed whilst in the deep end of the snow, helping me to get through those flatter zones. The stability and power of the tail also allowed for me to power through some serious chunder. This bored has Never Summers Signature rocker-camber profile, allowing for effortless float whilst also maintaining good contact under-foot. The advantage of this profile really lies in the catch-free nature, If i wanted I could butter spin down a mogul field and never catch an edge and it still gave me the pop I like in camber boreds. The side-cut enables for precise turns and a shorter turn radius than boreds you might try with similar length, which allowed me to upsize like i love to do. This bored felt like a mid-flex to me, while only weighing about 140 I was able to press and pop this bored without much effort, and the stiffness allowed for a lot of consistent rebound.

Overall this bored had no issue handling any sort of terrain and condition, a real gateway bored for people looking to take a step into the more advanced shapes but love the feel of a traditional rocker bored. As you may be able to guess from the shape, this bored is a powder bored and it will 100% give you a good time in the deep stuff, but don’t feel as though it will limit you to only riding that. Now if you are looking to rock rails constantly, you will probably be better off making a different selection. Thanks for reading, let me know what you think, and what bored you think I should try next. Thank you, and see you next time. :)
