The Bored was a ton of fun to test. I linked up with some friends and hiked up to some nice snow shortly after a storm, harvesting fresh snow on this bored was effortless. This bored is volume shifted, allowing maximum surface area while not having to ride a larger

sized bored. The turn radius on this thing was quick and snappy, allowing for some really fun slashing and surfy feels.

The big spoon nose allowed for great floatation with minimal effort. The early rise rocker on the nose and tail made this bored feel super surfy in its edge to edge transition. The setback camber gave me all the control I needed to make quick and agile turns, while not losing grip on the hard pack. The tail works as intended, helping me to keep speed in the lower

angle powder by reducing overall drag. The pop of the tail wasn’t anything to gloat about, but it got the job done, giving a slasher style feel.

After the resort got tracked out and we were cruising around sniping side hits and gaps, I did end up getting some pretty gnarly shin-bang because of how wide this board feels when you are on edge. So I wouldn’t recommend this bored as an all arounder, but rather just a powder specific snowboard. For the price point of this board it is a great one to throw into the quiver for powder days. Lock in that surfy feel to have a blast in the trees and beyond with the Telos Backslash.
